At Play’n’Around Early Learning we believe each child is a unique individual in their own right and that their special abilities, interests and back grounds are a very important contribution to our culturally diverse community.

At Play’n’Around Early Learning Centre we believe within the environment of care we will promote development of fine and gross motor skills, exercise, good nutrition, sleep and rest periods. We will ensure each child feels love, security and a sense of belonging. We will provide cognitive stimulation and education through a variety of experiences, stimulation of the senses and promote the importance of play.

At Play’n’Around Early Learning Centre we believe in our staff developing partnerships with families and the community alike. We invite families to actively participate in the operation of the centre and provide feedback through continual communication with our staff.

Play’n’Around Early Learning Centre we endeavour to employ qualified, experienced and passionate educators who are encouraged and supported in continual professional development.

At Play’n’Around Early Learning Centre we believe the children should be cared for in an environment that is warm, safe, secure, caring, nurturing, open and a homelike environment.

Play N Around ELC has highly qualified and dedicated staff who deliver a quality early learning program. The staff are nurturing and enthusiastic, displaying genuine care and concern for the children and families who attend the centre.  The learning program is closely matched to the children’s interests and includes a wide range of art and music experiences, as well as play based learning. In addition to this the children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging, fun activities such as gardening, excursions, cultural days, visits from performers, special celebrations and annual concerts.

The centre is modern and well resourced with a generous outdoor play area featuring a sand pit and cubby house.  Staff are approachable and readily available to discuss any concerns. Feedback about your child’s day to day progress and ongoing development are frequently provided, through informal conversations, photographs of their participation in activities, as well as formal reports and observations.

During their time at the centre my children have developed their independence, confidence, self help skills and social skills. They have thrived in such an attentive and supportive environment. The school readiness program is widely regarded as one which thoroughly prepares children for their first year at school, providing fundamental literacy and numeracy skills.  Catherine

We have been part of the 'Play’n’Around' ELC community since its inception in 2010 and it has been such a warm and enriching experience for us all.

Jessica Vaughan and her team of qualified, professional and nurturing carers show demonstrable and genuine care for our children, providing for an environment where the children feel safe and secure. They promote a culture of positive learning, through academic and social experiences and also foster a respectful and collaborative approach to learning and engaging with each other.

Each of the teachers at Play’n’Around have a very special place in our daughters heart, and in ours. I must thank you for making Jaimii’s first school experience so very special.  Ciao Steph

Play 'n' Around is a warm and nurturing environment dedicated to the children.  As the Centre is small and intimate the teachers take the time to know each child and their families.

The preschool program that is taught to the children goes way beyond learning a,b,c/1,2,3 and has prepared my girls for the big step into Kindergarten.

Play 'n' Around has really been an instrumental part of Brianna's life. They have influenced her and helped her develop different skills and personality in such a positive way.  Kylie

Play ‘N’ Around Early Learning Centre is a safe, happy and stimulating environment. The Centre’s most valuable assets are its management and staff. They are knowledgeable, warm, friendly, caring and totally dedicated to the children. Mornings are an easy transition as each child is greeted cheerfully and then directed to an activity so that mum and dad leave happy little people.

The days are structured to include indoor and outdoor child-centred play, with the children being spoilt for choice whilst strong educational objectives are targeted. All four of our children have attended the Centre achieving great success at school being well prepared for the challenges that lay ahead. The all inclusive program caters for children with special needs. Staff consult with families to ensure that the best start possible and ongoing support are in place and are constantly reviewed to ensure best possible outcomes. Our whole family would highly recommend Play ‘N’ Around Early Learning Centre to everyone as we believe there is no better Centre around.   Team Nolan

My girls had been going to Play N' Around (formerly Kids and Co) when we heard that it was sold. At first we were devastated that the centre would change and the girls will struggle to cope with any changes that would take place. How wrong were we!!!!

Since Jess (and Nic) bought the centre, it has gone from strength to strength. The smiles that we would see every morning and every afternoon got better. Our girls loved going to preschool. They never wanted to leave in the afternoon.

Our girls attended a prep school whilst also attending Play N Around. The difference was that, at Play N Around:

•    they learnt to prepare for kindy
•    they were happy to be dropped off and stay
•    they were greeted with smiles
•    they were consoled when they were upset
•    and mostly I always felt happy to leave them in the care of the wonderful staff.

I can say more and more about this centre, but mostly I would encourage every parent to come and meet the wonderful caring team at Play N Around as your children would be treated the way you would treat them and more!!   Thanks for looking after our children and getting them ready for big school.  Barry and Jackie Joukhador

“My son and daughter both attend Play ‘n’ Around and I could not speak highly enough of this Centre. My son has attended other child care centre’s and nothing comes close to the care he receives at Play ‘n’ Around. The staff are extremely warm and personal and very attentive to each child’s individual needs and personalities. Each time I drop my children off, I leave calm and confident, knowing that they will be cared for sensitively and this is reinforced by the smiling and joyful faces they greet me with when I return. In addition to the nurturing and loving feel of the Centre, the education and school readiness program is outstanding. I am amazed at how much my children are learning and the growth in their development has been noticeable. I am extremely thankful to have my children attend

This is my son's first year at Play ‘n’ Around and I am really impressed with Jess and her staff.  They have gone above and beyond in making my son feel comfortable and safe as well as having fun and learning. I can see my son already forming bonds with his teachers and I also enjoy having a chat with them at drop off and pick up times. Each teacher is approachable and helpful as well as caring and friendly.  The centre is clean and tidy as well as functional allowing kids to learn and have fun at the same time.  I highly recommend Play ‘n’ Around.  Thanks for taking care of my baby Jess!  Sam
