Freedom Social Skills Provides Holiday Camps, Social Skills Groups and Behavioural Intervention services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental or learning disabilities.
Social Skills Groups:
In-Clinic Social Skills Groups for Children and Adolescents (Ages 4 – 18)
With classes tailored for primary or high school students our Social Skills activities focus on developing the skills needed to form and maintain positive relationships and long-lasting friendships. Through a variety of fun and engaging activities the students learn important social skills such as sharing, turn taking, perspective taking and understanding emotions.
Sports Class (Ages 6 – 12)
Our Sports Groups are run at a local sporting facility. These small and inclusive groups allow our students to develop their gross motor skills and teamwork skills in a safe environment. We practice a variety of sports such as soccer, tennis and Oztag. We also play a variety of fun active games to develop coordination and agility.
Online Minecraft Social Skills (Ages: 6 – 12)
Minecraft Social Skills provides a safe online environment where students meet together with the class facilitator each week. Every week there is a social skills activity which the students complete together. After this the students jump into our private Minecraft server and participate in teamwork and creative building challenges.
Holiday Camps:
Our holiday camps are designed to target social skills and friendship skills development through a variety of fun activities. Each day has a different theme.
We have Lego, Dungeons and Dragons, Arts and Crafts, Film Makers, Science, and STEM Construction sessions.
