Days/Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 7:30 am -5.00 pm.
Ages catered for: 6 weeks to 5 years. (small group of only 4 kids each day)

I am a Family Day Care Educator since 2001 & been nominated for National Childcare Educator of the year since 2011 every year till present.
I have a passion for the philosophy of “family away from family” and value what a gift this can be for a child. The kids get individual attention, like cuddle time and time to just sit and talk with them which is very important.
I have set up my day care in a separate big room for indoor play area, which gives the opportunity for children to make choices and direct their own interaction with the learning environment and also the children have access to the good size back yard with outdoor activities.
I implement a range of teaching styles and methods to provide children with an education which ensures all children’s interests, needs and abilities are valued, documented and used to provide children with goals and experiences. These include aspects of the emergent curriculum, developmental checklists, portfolios and daily reflection for outdoor and indoor experiences.
I encourage children to; have a strong sense of identity; be connected with and contribute to their world; have a strong sense of well being; be confident and involved learners; and become effective communicators, which are the essential ingredients in developing the National Curriculum Early Years Learning Framework.
In my care environment, children learn through play, exploration and guided experiences while mixing with a small group of 4 children daily. I provide high quality care, which is a stimulating, positive experience where all aspects of the child’s development and self-worth will be fostered in a friendly and interactive home like environment.
Family Day Care is a more natural form of care as the children can socialise with different ages. The kids learn from other kids of all ages. The younger ones learn watching the older ones and the older ones learn responsibilities and gentleness with the younger kids.
The kids are not supposed to separate into age group. Your child attaches to and bonds with one educator. My commitment is to keep parents informed of their child's day, their developmental progress and concerns at all times.
Registered with Sydney Wide Family Day Care. Eligible families are able to claim the child care subsidy.
